I need some feedback. I have multiple blogs out there. Some are more up to date than others; but none are particularly scandalous. From 2000-2006, I art blogged. I blogged my art process. I blogged new art works. I blogged my heath problems. I blogged a photo friday EVERY friday. I photoblogged from my camera. It was much more personal than what I post here. (there are about 1000 posts in an expression engine website, just sitting...)I occasionally crossposted here, but not so much. It was back in my "I need to keep my identities separate" days.
This is my brain on mindmap
So I was looking at a way to visualize my web presence, but even beyond that, some of my interests. Mainly this was for fun (yes, I do things like this for fun) but also to help me "see" where my interests are as I explore potential PhD programs. Here is a start (which you can see at mindomo):

PhD programs in the Semantic Web ?
Hey there,I'm still looking around at PhD programs. A colleague suggesting looking for a program that specifically highlights semantic web stuff. Any suggestions? Ideas? Digital humanities is still high on my list, but I'm still investigating.thanks!

Professional CV (a Jquery experiment)
So, when I did my dossier for promotion (I go through a rank and promotion process which is somewhat similar to tenure but *not* tenure) , I did it in Jquery. I wanted something that represented my skills as well as meet the format of the dossier. You can see it live embedded below or go to http://www.robinfay.net/cv/ http://www.robinfay.net/cv/

What is your time worth?
In the last week, I've received 3 requests to teach or train people in various things. Basically, they want me to teach them what they should know 1) to do a particular job for which they don't want to hire someone or 2)to do the job for which they were hired, but clearly do not have the skills (or to teach someone they hired who is clearly undertrained). Oh, and did I mention for FREE?I've been thinking about this long and hard -- for a variety of reasons, as one of my goals for this year is to evaluate my career path.

Time flies (projects and more)
So, your might be wondering why I've been so quiet. Busy busy busy.I set up my art page on facebook athttp://www.facebook.com/robinfayartsYou do not need to friend me (or even "like" the page) in order to see my photos and artwork.I will be migrating a huge chunk of my art website there, will I redesign it in Drupal (I'm getting rid of all of the stand alone products, so that it's just Drupal). I just helped put together a lunch group to read and discuss metadata and the semantic web.
