Elections, social networking & the technology revolution

This election saw both political parties building strong web presences and utilizing social networking sites (and some mobile, too!) Candidates and their supporters actively participating in facebook, twitter, myspace and other social networking sites: advertising, building networks, and well... campaigning!Although I'm not particularly fond of the term web2.0 (what happens when we get to web20.0?), there is no doubt that the information/technological revolution has been a major shift in the U.S.

twitting a twebinar

So, I'm in the middle of a twebinar called Game Changing Moves: Who Really Owns Your Brand?Anyhow, so it's a webinar with a twitter element thrown in and I am taking a break. The topic is interesting (branding in the web2.0+ world), but I think this might be more multitasking than my brain can handle. Not sure about that, because I could never (ever, ever) get the windows installer to work properly. Maybe if I had already switched to ubuntu ALREADY...

Blog housekeeping -- the feed, facebook, and wordpress

All~I've burned the feed for contentdivergent at feedburner so that I can also blog (without doing any work!) on my facebook page. For those of you who subscribe via bloglines, google reader, thunderbird, etc. if you don't see any updates in the next few days, please let me know. I don't think this will cause any problems to your ability to receive new postings, but I'm not sure about that.As for those of you who may read my mirror (and test!) blog at wordpress.com, I'm still trying to find a way to post to both blogs at the same time. I've read that twitter will do this.
